TAX RECEIPT INFORMATION

The Lockport City Treasurer collects all of our school taxes for us (both city and town properties).  Once the tax collection period is over, the city turns over the records to the school district.  The school district does not have access to the tax records during the collection period.  We usually have the records on or near November 15th each year.


How can I order a tax receipt?


IF MAKING REQUEST FOR CURRENT TAXES DURING SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, OR NOVEMBER (PRIOR TO NOV. 15), REQUESTS CAN BE MADE TO THE LOCKPORT CITY TREASURER.  METHODS OF REQUEST:


  1. Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your tax payment and you will be mailed a receipt.

  2. Or, you may call the City Treasurer at 716-439-6744.  Please be aware that call volume may be increased during the collection period.



IF MAKING REQUEST FOR TAX RECEIPT FROM NOVEMBER 15 TO AUGUST 31, REQUESTS CAN BE MADE TO THE LOCKPORT CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT.  METHODS OF REQUEST:
